How it works
Browser-based tools use modern web APIs — the Canvas API for images, the Web Crypto API for hashing, and WebAssembly for heavier formats. Your file is read into memory, transformed locally, and offered back as a download. For a handful of operations that genuinely need more power (some video, audio and PDF tasks), the interface is ready and an optional server engine can be connected; those tools are clearly labelled so you always know where your data goes.
